And My glory will I not give to another. 12 Hearken unto Me, O Jacob, and Israel My called: I am He; I am the first, I also am the last. 13 Yea, My hand hath laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand hath spread out the heavens; when I call unto them, they stand up together. 14 Assemble yourselves, all ye, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? I just don’t see where your Jewish translation is significantly different on Isaiah 48:11-16 than my trusty NASB. The NASV is a good translation. The current day JPS has changed much from the 1917 JPS to obfuscate some sticky scriptures IE 1901 ASV Genesis 19:24 Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Jehovah out of heaven; 1917 JPS 24 ¶ Then the LORD caused to rain upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; The current JPS (Paraphrase I don't have it in front of me) Then God rained upon Sodom and Gomorrah fire out of heaven.
