Dear webmaster,
I just want you to know that I was pleased by the level of objectivity in the page www.catholic.com/library/Seventh_Day_Adventism.asp.
As you know, Seventh-day Adventists have inherited the Protestant view of Christian history and there isn't much that can be done to reconcile our two opposing traditions (Protestant and Catholic).
If it will make you feel any better about SDAs, I share many of their beliefs yet I oppose the practice of popery in the Seventh-day Adventist church for the same reason the Reformers opposed it in the Medieval Church. See Gospel presentations for medieval Seventh-day Adventists. My argument with Catholicism therefore is purely theological and not personal.
I thank you again for the objectivity in your respectable web page about Seventh-day Adventists. |
