All praise is to God.....Allah Subhaanahu wa Taalaa who guided me to Islaam. How blessed am I that Allah Subhaanahu wa Taalaa chose to lead me from darkness into the light.
I think a TV christian evangelist summed up our difference in attitude towards God very well when he repeatedly hollered from his pulpit.....
"Our God loves us so much HE DIED FOR US!!! Whereas their God is so evil (Allah) He expects THEM to DIE for HIM!!!!"
.....much clapping and applause.....
"and I'll say it again!....Our God loves us so much HE DIED FOR US!!! Whereas their God is so evil (Allah) He expects THEM to DIE for HIM!!!!"
.....much clapping and applause and stamping of feet and whistling.....
"and I'll say it again!....Our God loves us so much HE DIED FOR US!!! Whereas their God is so evil (Allah) He expects THEM to DIE for HIM!!!!"
All praise is for God, Allah Subhaanahu wa Taalaa who guided me to Islaam. Looking back on what that preacher is hollering to his audience....and how they were lapping it up.....thank you Allah for guiding me.....
Considering our relative positions Creator and created.....my dear christians.....please reconsider before its too late.
Say: "O people of the Book! Let us get together on what is common between us and you: that we shall worship none but Allah; that we shall not associate any partners with Him; that we shall not take from among ourselves any lords beside Allah." If they reject your invitation then tell them: "Bear witness that we are Muslims (who have surrendered to Allah)." 3.64

I am certain that the TV christian that you were watching repeatedly hollered from his pulpit what you say he did. However, I am very confident that he is misrepresenting the Christianity of the Bible. Jesus said,
Quote:
If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. Luke 9:23-24
Just as Jesus was fully submissive to His Father’s will (Matthew 4:1-11), the Bible directs Christians to follow Jesus’ example and to imitate Christ’s humility:
Quote:
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross! Philippians 2:3-8

...Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. John 5:19-27
Dear Red Camel, that is just one Scriptural example of what Heston means, when he says that Jesus Christ referred to himself as the Son of God. _________________ And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the Son of David? For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool. David therefore himself calleth him Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly. Mark 12:35-37
In verse 36 of this Scripture, Jesus refers to the Old Testament verse Psalm 110:1
Quote:
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
King David (whom Moslems count as a prophet) spoke of the Son of God before His earthly ministry by the power of the Holy Ghost and therefore testified to the Triune God. The true God is Trinity. Unfortunately, not only does Islam deny the Sonship of God, but it denies the true essence of God: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Bless you, Red Camel. _________________ And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. Jesus also says He was sent by the Father as well as being the Son of God.
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 16:16-17
